SOME DEFINITIONS

Retail means the price in store or online from the brand itself for a new bag.

Excellent means the average price for bags in the same category that were labeled in "Excellent condition" by the second-hand platforms.

Very Good means the average price for bags in the same category that were labeled "Very good condition" by the second-hand platforms.

Good means the average price for bags in the same category that were labeled "Good condition" by the second-hand platforms.

Vintage means bags that were released before 2004. Please note that for certain bags there is an uncertainty about the release date. Before you make your purchase always read descriptions from the seller.

HOW ARE RATINGS CALCULATED?

Bags are rated from 0 to 5 stars based on several criteria. Among them are :
* The durability/quality of the material;
* If the bags have some assets or features such as embroideries;
* For Chanel, hardware in gold or not; 
* The era of the bag;
* Rarity or not of the bag;
* Price range;
* Popularity among celebrities;
* If the bag is a collector piece, a must-have or on the contrary if other bags should be prefered.
 

HOW ARE SELLERS CHOSEN?

Three types of sellers are referenced on MATHILDE-LOVED BAGS:
* Second-hand platforms that connect sellers to customers. These platforms usually do not own the products but the products transit by them. Vestiaire Collective is one of them;
* Second-hand resellers that sell the products on their own behalf. Vintega is one of them.
* Small independent resellers that sell the products on their own behalf. Break Archive is one of them.

Sellers are referenced on MLB because they are well-known and reputable.

Each seller has its own authentification process, warranties and return policy. 

Before making your purchase, make sure you understand the seller's policies.
 

DO ALL SELLERS SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Yes.
Sellers that are referenced on MLB are mainly from the European Union, the Uk and the USA.If you buy from a seller that is not based in your country (or for the EU, that is not based in the EU), please note that additional taxes and fees might add up to the price of your pre-loved bag. Always read and refer to the seller's policy before purchasing your bag.

 

HOW ARE BAGS SELECTED FOR THE LISTINGS?

Bags are listed manually based on the price and condition. Bags that are only in average or mediocre condition are not listed. 
Prices are fixed by sellers which explains that you two bags that look exactly the same have different prices. Sometimes the difference can be very slight, a few scratch on the hardware can make the difference for instance. 
Some bags are very rare and sell out fast. Same goes with bags that were underpriced. 
Bags are listed AS IS, without guaranty that the same bag won't be listed after at a better price. This is the second-hand game.

Yes.

CAN I SELL MY BAG ON MATHILDE-LOVED BAGS?

No.
MLB lists bags found on reputable sellers. MLB has no connection nor affiliation with the sellers. If you want to sell your bag, you'll need to do it yourself. You can sell it on a platform, or consign it, or chose a seller that will directly buy it from you.

I BOUGHT A BAG THAT WAS LISTED ON MLB BUT I HATE IT/THINK IT'S A FAKE, WHAT CAN I DO?

Contact the seller.
MLB only lists bags and gives recommendation. Only sellers are responsible for the products they sell. They each have their policies.
